OpenBSD Errata: October 29th, 2020 (icmp6)
28 October, 2020 by tb@openbsd.org | openbsd
Errata patches for the kernel have been released for OpenBSD 6.7 and 6.8. When generating the ICMP6 response to an IPv6 packet, the kernel could use mbuf memory after freeing it. Binary updates for the amd64, i386, and arm64 platforms are available via the syspatch utility. Source code patches can be found on the respective errata page: https://www.openbsd.org/errata67.html https://www.openbsd.org/errata68.html As these affect the kernel, a reboot will be needed after patching.
