FreeBSD 12.4 and stable/12 branch end-of-life

Dear FreeBSD community,

As of December 31, 2023, FreeBSD 12.4 and the stable/12 branch will reach
end of life and will no longer be supported by the FreeBSD Security Team.
Users of FreeBSD 12.4 are strongly encouraged to upgrade to a newer release
as soon as possible.

Note that FreeBSD 12 is the last release series built from the Subversion
repository.  The git2svn service will be discontinued after December 31, 2023,
and the Subversion repository will stop being updated.  If there are any
commits to stable/12 or other branches after the EOL date they will only be
accessible in the Git repository.

After December 31, the supported branches and releases, along with their
expected end-of-life dates, will be:
